Actuation

Actuator Suite

Seven actuators managed via 5 relay outputs (some relays control paired devices).

  • 1x AC unit - maintains temperature setpoint
  • 2x Humidifiers (one per end) - increase humidity when low
  • 2x Dehumidifiers (one per end) - reduce humidity when high
  • 2x Exhaust fans (one per end) - ventilate and lower CO₂
  • All actuators triggered automatically based on sensor thresholds
Logic

Preset Optimisation Logic

Pre-configured ideal climate parameters for mushroom cultivation (e.g., oyster, shiitake, button).

  • Temperature: 15-22°C depending on growth stage
  • Relative humidity: 85-95%
  • CO₂: below 800 ppm during pinning, 1000-1500 ppm during fruiting
  • Automatic switching between humidifiers / dehumidifiers
  • Exhaust fans triggered when CO₂ exceeds threshold
